The selection of works from the series of black and white photographs that document and reflect on the consequences of the 'transition period' that started in the '90 as a result of war, corruption and the inadequate adjustment form socialism to neo-liberal capitalism. Empty window planes reflect the downfall of the economic market, industrial production, corruption and privatisation which led to unemployment, bankruptcy and obliteration of businesses, factories and companies that were in the state and government property. The names of the companies and businesses that once proudly represented the accomplishment of the former regime and workforce are now left hollow, demolished, degraded, just like the people that were once a part of them. Empty places represent the void left in the city's structure and a historical space of the collective memory that can these days only reside in peoples minds.
